ENERGY HEALING

Shirodhara 60 minute Session: $135 | 90 minute Shirodhara & Abhyanga Session: $200
Shirodhara (Shira = head | dhara = steady flow) is a therapeutic ayurvedic treatment where a continuous stream of warm oil is poured onto the forehead where the third eye is located. Your third eye, also known as the pineal gland, when activated can lead to heightened intuition, and a deeper connection to the spiritual world. clarity of thought, and overall increased awareness. It is a very relaxing experience that promotes lower stress, anxiety, and depression, improved sleep, improved intuition, and improved memory and concentration.
In an Abhyanga massage warm oil is poured and absorbed by the skin through long, flowing, and circular rhythmic strokes. Abhyanga is known for its relaxing and stress-reducing effect. It can help in the removal of toxins from the body through the skin. This massage is very nourishing for the skin, muscles, and joints.
A 90 minute Shirodhara & Abhyanga Session will blend the beautiful treatments of Shirodhara and Abhyanga. We will start the session with a 40 minute Abhyanga massage and end with a 45 minute shirodhara treatment and 5 minutes to relax and integrate.
Please note:
Please come to your appointment with dry, brushed hair. It is best to not rush into anything after this treatment and just relax if possible. Wear clothes that you do not mind if oil gets on them. When washing hair afterwards fuse shampoo first before water and then wash as you normally would.
Shirodhara massage includes 45 minutes of active treatment time.
Thai massage
Investment: 60 min ($120) + 90 min ($175)
Thai massage is a deeply soothing practice that embraces both your body and your spirit. Rooted in ancient traditions, this therapy combines rhythmic compressions, gentle (but deep) stretches, and mindful breathing to create a harmonious dance between you and I. As we travel along the energy pathways called “sen lines,’ tension dissipates, leaving you feeling revitalized and uplifted. I send compassion through every movement so that you can reach a beautiful state of healing & restoration. Thai massage leads to increased flexibility, increased joint mobility, energy flow (chi) — this practice involves some level of contortions and active participation from the client.

AYURVEDIC SUPPORT

Ayurveda is a deep, beautiful, wisdom-based practice that can help you lead a more balanced, empowered, healthy and long life. While we all have this wisdom inside of us, we may have forgotten it along the way through the stressors of modern day life – between work, driving, personal commitments, relationships, social media, and everything going on in the world, we can become disconnected from our natural rhythms & needs. Ayurveda provides incredible direction on how to return to your natural state based on your own Doshic constitution. Our program together will begin with an in-depth exploration of your current health concerns, imbalances and establishing the long term vision for your health. I will then lead you through your custom treatment program, which will include a lifestyle, diet, and herbal protocol, as well as energy healing and holistic modalities such as yoga meditation and pranayama. Ultimately, you will walk away with many new tools to support you in becoming your own healer 🤍

Personalized consultation based on Ayurveda. We will assess your Doshic constitution and provide guidance on lifestyle, diet, and herbal remedies. We will first meet for a 90 minute consultation where we will dive deep into things such as your health history, current health state, lifestyle, schedule, habits, and any concerns you may have. We will follow this with a 45 minute return client session where I will go over a treatment plan for you. After this we will meet for 1 more follow up session to check in and see how the protocol is working for you, address any concerns, and make any necessary changes to the protocol.

Program length: 3 months
Includes a personalized consultation based on Ayurveda. We will assess your Doshic constitution and provide guidance on lifestyle, diet, and herbal remedies. We will first meet for a 90 minute consultation where we will dive deep into things such as your health history, current health state, lifestyle, schedule, habits, and any concerns you may have. We will follow this with a 45 minute return client session where I will go over a custom treatment plan for you. After this we will meet for 2 more follow up sessions to check in and see how the protocol is working for you, address any concerns, and make any necessary changes to the protocol, and I will also lead you through an energy healing. In addition you will have the option to choose 2 treatments. You will be able to choose from Abhyanga (ayurvedic massage), shirodhara, sound healing, and private yoga and meditation. You will have free access to all of my group yoga classes within those 3 months as well.

YOGA CLASSES & workshops
Makia Holistic Haven offers yoga classes and workshops on Koshas, Ayurveda, Breathing & Your Nervous System, and Couples Workshops.
Ying/Gentle yoga classes will be focused on building your connection with your body, intuitive movement, and giving your body what it needs and is asking for. Slow, deep postures for all levels, modifications provided. We will incorporate pranayama (breathing techniques) and yoga philosophy talk. I will also offer introductions to chakras and koshas and asana postures to support them!
You will walk away more mobile, more flexible on and off the mat, move through life with more peace and presence, deeper self love, calm, relaxed, in flow!

OUR POLICIES
Your time is valuable, and so is mine. I'll be ready to begin your session at the time of your appointment. If you're late, I will not be able to make up that time beyond what you're scheduled and you will not be refunded for the time lost as a result of your tardiness. No exceptions will be made.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time. Please understand that when you reserve your time and date of service in my electronic calendar, you are blocking that space from someone else receiving my services. Therefore, cancellations made within the 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of service will only be refunded 50% of the original charge, even if you want to rebook the cancelled appointment (excludes appointments made with gift cards, as these are not redeemable for cash). If you choose to rebook the cancelled appointment, you must do so as a brand new appointment in the electronic calendar.
No shows will forfeit refund for the service scheduled. No exceptions will be made.
I am not responsible for any valuables (jewelry, watches, etc.) you leave in my studio. You should not be wearing any kind of valuables while on my table. Please come to your appointment wearing no valuables.
Gift card holders who cancel their appointment within the 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of service may not be able to reschedule again. I reserve the right to determine this on a case by case basis.
You MUST bring your paper gift card with you on the day of your session in order for the service to be rendered. Paper gift cards have an expiration date on all of them; they expire 6 months from the date of purchase. This means you should call me as soon as possible to book your session WITHIN that 6 month period. I will not honor expired gift cards. No exceptions will be made.
The massage and bodywork received at Makia Massage LLC involve appropriate touch only. We strictly follow the ethical guidelines of our profession. We DO NOT engage in inappropriate touching.
