SOMATIC YIN YOGA | WEEKLY, SUNDAYS
These classes are designed to promote mind-body integration.
We will move through slow, mindful movements paired with slow breathing to deepen our connection to our bodies. I will guide you through different poses but encourage you to listen to your body and move intuitively within each pose. We will also work on different breathing techniques and learn to breathe in a more beneficial way.
This slowing down of breath and movement allows us to become more present and hear what our body has been asking of us — helping to re-teach the way our brain communicates with, and moves our muscles. This style of yoga can be very helpful in releasing trapped energy and emotions, increasing flexibility and mobility, and managing pain and stress.
We will be focusing on how the postures FEEL not how they look. 😌
